I finally found a beautiful red dress that I am in love with! I bought this beauty specifically for my vacation to Cuba coming up later this week. I cannot wait to rock it in beautiful Cuba. My favorite part of the dress, aside from the color, is the lace, it totally makes me feel whimsical!

Nadia Aboulhosn is at it again! This is her second time creating her own Fall Collection with Addition Elle. The inspiration to her collection comes from her love of street wear and the 90s. I love that the pieces showcase versatile clothing that "you can take almost every piece and wear it with heels and sneakers" (Nadia Aboulhosn). Personally, I'm not a big fan of high heels, the versatility of the collection to dress it up or down is a bonus! 

I naturally gravitated toward this outfit because of my love for lace ups and sheer. I also like to push the envelope with my fashion pieces, wearing things that are not considered to be "ideal" for plus size women because of our shape or body size. Addition Elle is pushing the envelope to prove "to society that style isn't limited by size" and is challenging society to

The entire outfit screams out what I embody in my fashion and how I live. Being fearless, being bold and being you. This is something that Nadia has always embodied and continues to embody throughout her journey in the fashion industry. Thank you for always being you and congratulations on your collection, Nadia!

I finally had the pleasure of shooting with the one and only, Velvet d'Amour! I have been waiting for the day for her to announce that she is finally coming to Toronto. I have been a long time fan of hers and I am a contributing blogger for her VOL.UP.2 magazine. Booking a photo session with Velvet was a no brainer. The day finally arrived and I was shooting with the vivacious Velvet!

She is truly magical behind the lens. I am so happy I had the opportunity to meet her and shoot with her. She was very friendly, offered plenty of advice on how to pose and over all a pleasure to work with. Here is the magic that was produced from our photo session.

This blog post is dedicated to all the women who have hated their bodies because of their size. I decided to bare it all, cellulite included, to show that my body, in it's raw form, is still beautiful and worth celebrating. 

In my young years, I would do anything and everything to try and hide my body. I was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, known for it's extreme hot climate. Every time I would go to the beach/pool, I would refuse to remove my towel until I reached the water. I feared people seeing my body. I would even ask my friends to walk up as close to the water as possible so that I could hand them the towel once I got inside the water. All because I was afraid to show my body. 

Images are very powerful and this is why I want to post these pictures. I want people to see what different bodies look like. I want young women to see my pictures and know it's okay to wear a swimsuit and show off your body in it's raw form. No towels or cover-ups necessary. 

If you are afraid of people making fun of you, please don't let these fears stop you from living your life and wearing what you want. At the end of the day, you're out there living it up, doing what you want and being happy and that's all the really matters.

The Ashley Graham Glamour Corset

YOU HAD A PURPOSE 

BEFORE ANYONE HAD AN OPINION.

Sexy, flirtatious and glamorous is what the Ashley Graham Glamour Corset from Addition Elle embodies! I definitely felt all of that and some wearing this for my birthday celebration. 

This corset is a lingerie piece, but I just had to wear it as a top because it's too damn sexy to hide! Plus, I'm all about pushing boundaries and trying to find ways to incorporate lingerie pieces into my evening clothing, I mean, why the hell not?! 

I wore this corset for at least 10 hours, and it was pretty comfortable. The boning wasn't digging into my skin which is a two thumbs up! The cups are padded and the corset is detailed with lace which in my books is a winner! Anything lace, sign me up please! 

I bought the corset in a 1x and it fit like a glove. I was able to wear it as a top without having to undo it, but a word of a advice, you will definitely need someone to help you get out of it! (I mean you could totally undo the clasps, but after a night out, ain't no body got time for that)

     My ultimate fashion weaknesses are prints and specifically, paisley prints. This dress was truly a love at first sight. Click, click, click and voila, it was mine just like that! This Boohoo beauty, 'Plus Niamh Paisley Printed Dress', is made out of 100% polyester, so there is no room for any stretch. If you are like me, and absolutely want this dress, I will tell you this, it is true to size. I purchased it in a size 18 CAN Size which is equivalent to a 22 UK Size and it fits perfectly.

     Also, this is a great spin on a Valentine's Day outfit. Instead of opting for an an all red outfit, I wanted to go with a little something different. Cue 2 Chainz "Im Different" song in the background LOL! On the real though, it has all my favorite colors combined in one dress. Red, orange and purple equaling, PERFECTION!

No one is YOU and that is YOUR power

All I gotta say is TUTU!! I adore tutus. I seriously want one in every color. Aside from the fact that you can style tutus in so many different ways, it's simply so much fun to wear one. 

I bought the tutu I'm wearing from Pop Up Plus last year and I finally had the opportunity to wear it to my work Holiday party. 

The only one Pop Up Plus carries as of today is the long 'Talia Tutu Skirt'. Also, Society+ carries a wide range of knee length tutus if you have your heart set on a shorter length. They even carry a wide range of colors! 

To give it that sexy edge, I styled the tutu with 'Plus Frankie Strappy Slinky Swing Vest' that I bought from Boohoo. I think the straps on the v part are super sexy. I completed the look with the fun and flirty 'Betsey Johnson Medium Speedy Be Mine Black Floral Roses' purse from WINNERS,
